This series of proofs allows you to see how layers are used to turn on and off certain elements of common artwork.
By using the same artwork, but changing the color, you create a new version, and design elements remain in place. Packaging has specific constraints the design must adhere to.

 

 

Designed when I was working for Pacific Bag.

Pacific Bag holds the patent for those little valves that allow gas to escape from full bean packages, and does not allow any gas to enter package. Its a one-way degassing valves for flexible packaging.

I was the main designer for Pinon Coffee for a period of 5 years. The company has since changed hands, yet they are still using my designs.

Design for 8 oz. but can be scaled up.

Blow up this PDF at 200% and look at the detail in the central illustration on the bag. The vertical pyramids are also very detailed, which the JPG at left distorts badly.
